Ingenuus
Redefines 'Lightweight' With New Release of Software
FRISCO, Texas,
- April 20, 2005 - Ingenuus Software Inc., the leader in Business Process
Orchestration, announced today the release of Smart Expediter 5.1 claiming
that new features, pricing and flexibility redefine "lightweight"
software.
"Many companies think the term lightweight means limited functionality,"
says Ingenuus CEO, Christopher Williams. "At Ingenuus we are redefining
lightweight by offering robust process/flow capabilities combined with
ease of use and an affordable price point."
Traditional enterprise class software providers have offered lower cost
solutions that have come to be known as "lightweight" or just
"lite". These solutions typically have less functionality and
are not as robust as the full enterprise versions. Ingenuus is redefining
lightweight to mean that the solution is easy to deploy and use, costs
thousands less to purchase and maintain yet remains rich in ability. Capabilities
and configuration options are offered "a la carte" so that customers
can add the features they need like integration or bill of material management
without sacrificing basic process automation capabilities.
"Companies are deciding that they want to prove a software's ability
before committing to a huge rollout," explains Ingenuus CTO Vivek
Prasad. "With Ingenuus, they can automate one or many processes to
prove the concept of Process Orchestration and then easily expand. That
is not so easy to do with most enterprise class software."
