Semiconductor Purchases Ingenuus' Smart Expediter
Pericom will be using the Smart Expediter to automate bill of materials management, part number assignment, and contract manufacturing management processes and will be developing several new processes to address Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Pericom designs and develops high-performance interface integrated circuits used for the transferring, routing, and timing of high-speed digital and analog signals within and between computer, networking, and multimedia systems. "Pericom will be using the business process fusion approach to enhance its document and bill of material release process by including contract manufacturers. Automating only this portion of its activity will save the company several thousand dollars each year," said Ingenuus CEO Christopher Williams. Using the Ingenuus Smart Expediter, Pericom will also design 20 to -30 new flows to address Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
